Milkteas “I’m a Cineast” – List
Someone who likes south park?
I love to watch it, it’s so crazy and funny.
Maybe one or two of you know episode 14 of season 11. It’s called “The list” – the girls in the fourth grade class make a secret list that rates every boys looks from cutest to ugliest.
Remember when you where a little girly girl? Me and my friends made lists all the time and so the girls in south park do too. :D
I love this idea.
So this is the second list, the first was “my secret crushes” and I’m so excited.
I’m a big Cineast. I love movies and I watch every stupid movie, I don’t have a special genre I like more or less.
So this list is very difficult for me and I decided to take only movies from the last 10 years.
Don’t take the order too serious – It’s random – a little bit :)
I don’t know the resource for every picture, so if you see one of your pictures I will be glad to add one.

Howl’s moving castle
I also love Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke :)
I’m addicted to Manga and Anime, so it’s no surprise that I like Ghibli Studio films, but I think they are perfect for people who don’t like anime that much.
The story is so heartwarming and touching. I love the little secrets of this movie, things where you are not able to give account of. Something you might know when you’re familiar with Japanese culture, history or myth or not?! Things you can interpret and think of.
Moreover there is something like a love story and a cute little happy end for the two lovers (something I miss in Spirited Away ;_;)
Let the movie put a spell on you ;)

Harry Potter
And I won’t choose a special movie – I love all of them – AND yes, I read the books and I still love the movies *g*
I love the Weasley Twins <3
And I can’t wait for HP6.

Pride and Prejudice
I love Jane Austen (so I don’t care that I don’t like Keira Knightly that much) and I love this book.
There are different opinions about movies based on novels, but this movie gets better and better the more you watch it and it holds true to the spirit of the book. And, yes, I saw the BBC Series with Colin Firth. ;)
“She is tolerable, but not handsome enough to tempt me” would be provocation for every liberated girl and Elizabeth is a liberated girl with a mother whose only worry is to marry her daughters as soon an possible. Sounds predestined for some trouble, chaos and fun. And it is.
A movie with a wonderful historical touch in front of a beautiful scenery about the love and life of a pride girl who has a mind of her own.

Moulin Rouge
Overrated? An insipid, anachronistic claptrap? Pure boredom?
Ok. I’m love to watch insipid, anachronistic claptraps of pure boredom who are totally overrated. I don’t care what other people say, because this movie is a glittering and dazzling spectacle you can’t tear yourself away from.
A good movie is where you can laugh and cry. And I really laughed and I really cried. I felt the pain of christian and the love between him and Satine. Bright-eyed I watched this movie a hundred of times and it’s SPECTACULAR – Spectacular!

Marie Antoinette
Everybody know her as the girl saying “Let them eat cake”, when she asked why the peasants were rioting during the French Revolution and was told that they had no bread to eat.
Rumor? Reality? Who cares.
This film haunts me. I saw it two times, but I can’t get it out of my mind. Big bubblegum colored dresses, big cute cakes, magnificent shoes and unconceivable hair. I love this movie. It makes me hyperactive everytime I think of it. I want to stand up and make a cute hat that looks like a cake, a pompous dress with frills and handbags with pearls and bows.
Every girl wants to be like Marie Antoinette.
And every boy? Eat cake :)

La vie en Rose
This movie has many castigators, but there is no doubt about the the extraordinary performance of Marion Cotillard and the extraordinary life who takes center stage of this fascinating movie.
Everybody who loves the music of Edit Piaf, will love that movie. Maybe the music is the only thing that makes this movie a little bit bright and cheerful. Apart from that the movie is really emotional, dramatic and moving as Edit Piafs life was.
From the streets to the brothel, from the circus to the streets, from the streets to the clubs, through bad patches and bubbly heights, culminating in a passionate love affair and the inevitable decline.
Maybe you will love her or hate her or you feel sorry for her, but you will feel with her. And afterwards you will definitely say: “Non, je ne regrette rien.”

The Dark Knight
Who thought, that Heath Ledgers Joker is not on first place? O.O
I’m a big fan of comic film adaptions, so I’m a big fan of Batman movies, the good and the bad one – I really don’t care, but the Dark Knight is definitely the best.
Is there really someone out there who haven’t seen the movie yet? This is not just for batman fans or fans of this movie genre.
It’s the darkest batman ever, but the profoundest.
A crazy and insane clown keeps gotham city on tenterhooks. A tour the force for your mind.
James Gordon Jr.: Why’s he running, Dad?
Lt. James Gordon: Because we have to chase him.
James Gordon Jr.: He didn’t do anything wrong.
Lt. James Gordon: Because he’s the hero Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we’ll hunt him because he can take it. Because he’s not our hero. He’s a silent guardian, a watchful protector. A dark knight.
